Faculty Retention – Panel Discussion with Department Chairs and Deans

This remote workshop will focus on strategies that unit leaders (former or current) have used for preemptive retention, e.g. fostering the development of leadership skills in faculty, advising faculty on their careers and future at U-M, and ensuring equity. Panelists will also discuss the more time sensitive moment of a retention offer. This workshop is part of the 2021-2022 BIPOC Faculty Retention Workshop Series for Chairs, Directors, & Associate Deans.
